Saturday Mornings

In this 90-minute Fundamentals class, students begin with a gentle warm-up sequence to loosen joints and gently awaken the body. From there, we transition into Standing Meditation to develop grounding, breath awareness, and mental focus. Next, Silk Reeling Exercises help refine spiraling movements and build a stronger sense of flow and coordination. Students then practice the 18 Essence Form, focusing on precise postural alignment, mindful intention, and fluid transitions. Finally, we introduce two-person drills, allowing students to explore partner sensitivity, timing, and safe application of key Taiji principles. Throughout the class, participants gain foundational skills that support relaxation, proper body alignment, and deeper internal awareness.

Thursday Evenings - Progressive Skills


Class time - 6:30 PM - 8:00PM

In this 90-minute Progressive class, students build on their fundamental Taiji training by working through Old Frame Forms 1 and 2, refining and expanding their understanding of body structure, flow, and energetic grounding. The session also introduces classical weapons practice with both the Straight Sword and the Broad Sword, guiding students through elegant, precise movements that cultivate focus, balance, and martial applications. By integrating these advanced forms with mindful practice and detailed corrections, participants deepen their skill set and continue developing the internal strength and fluid coordination essential to Taiji mastery.
