A new session of the Chen 18 Essence Form is beginning now — making this one of the best times for new students to join.
The Taiji for Health track is designed to help you build balance, coordination, relaxation, and body awareness step by step in a welcoming and supportive environment. We move progressively through the form in manageable sections, giving you time to understand the movements instead of feeling rushed to “keep up.”
Whether your goal is stress relief, mobility, posture, mindfulness, or simply finding a healthier rhythm in your week, this program provides a clear path forward.
No experience is necessary.
You do not need to be flexible, athletic, or “already in shape” to begin.
Each class includes:
- Foundational movement training
- Standing meditation
- Silk reeling exercises
- Guided instruction through the 18 Essence Form
- Basic corrections to help establish a connection with each ending posture
Students joining at the beginning of a new section often find it easier to build confidence and consistency alongside the rest of the group.
